The Other Side of Love
Love is saying I'm sorry
Even when she is wrong
It's always showing patience
Whenever she takes too long
It's reading him directions
That he refuses to read
And all those parts left over
That he says he does't need
It's when she burns the chicken
But you always ask for more
She forgets to tell you to bring home milk
So you head back to the store
It's when the doctor says it's cancer
With only two months to live
You look back though the life you had
How much did you give?
Love is about give and take
Not just a hug and a kiss
For when it's gone you can't get back
These things that you will miss
