The Other Half

When hope seemed to fade and often disappear
And the clouds in my skies became unclear
She reached out to me and brought to my feet
Gave me a love I never knew could be so sweet
Rotated the frown that displayed my emotion
Calmed the waves when storms invaded my ocean
Her lips felt so tender I was skeptical to believe they were real
Not many hearts can replicate the way I feel
Or even imagine the desire I have inside
So i'm just going to let fate be my guide
And maybe pain will dissolve and never repeat
Without my other half I can never be complete
