The Only Bible
We may be the only Bible, that one would read today,
with our walk, we can win them, or run them far away.
We are to be the image, of our God, you see,
the only Bible one may read today, is you and me?
Does our image show his love, With compassion and grace,
does our life shine his light, helping others to run their race.
With his kindness, and mercy, flowing through our heart,
therefore being in his image, we should also be his part.
We should be the truth, for all to plainly see,
the only Bible one may read today, is you or me?
Is our pages tattered, torn without repair,
Jesus loves us all and for all he does care.
When we cast our judgment, without a compassionate heart,
it’s death that we spread, and that’s not our part.
We have been set free, a light that shows the way,
truly living for God, being His works of the day.
Fighting a good fight, in His truth we take our stand,
we may be the only bible that can help another to stand.
For we are truly servants, yes, servants of the light,
the only bible’s in this world,
that can lead others, through their night.
