The One
I've spent a lifetime searching
Lost all track of the days
I found you in my journey
And I pray that you'll stay
Our two lives seem connected
Like a summers daydream
My worn heart resurrected
From a life of agony
This time feels like no other
When I look in your eyes
The yearning and the hunger
I see the beauty inside
The Angels have surrounded
Bearing gifts from above
I think the one they call Cupid
Has bestowed us with love
