Lying here beside you
I feel the warmth of your skin
I never guessed I’d be the one...

Forever thankful 
For I’ve been blessed

I never guessed... I’d be the one
To share your every sunrise
And all your setting suns

You say that you love me
Now I must confess
I never guessed I’d be the one...

You give me purpose
I call it fate 
I never guessed I’d be the one

Now I feel a tear falling
Watching you from a distance
What’s the journey worth if we don’t try...
Many a lifetime.. are lived out in vain
