The One

That song came on the radio, The one that we danced to, The one you sang to me, The one that reminds me of you. I found the necklace I lost, The one with the locket, The one that has our photos inside, The one you hid in your coat pocket. I wore your old sweater today, The one that I bought, The one that still smells like you, The one that keeps you in my thoughts. My old shoe box is on our bed, The one that holds many sentiments, The one with your love letters inside, The one that holds everything we meant. I miss my soulmate, immensely, The one who will forever be in my soul, The one that still has my heart, The one who made me feel whole.

Thanks Richard. Fortunately I haven't experienced lost love. I am still with my sweetheart, we met when I was seventeen, 30years on and we're still going strong ??

Thank you for your kind words, Warren. Fortunately I haven't experienced lost love. I am still with the man I met when I was seventeen.. Thirty years later, two sons and almost twenty seven years married :)
