The Once Beloved

The once beloved shall not judge
the once beloved shall be curt
the once beloved shall not hurt
and once beloved, always beloved

the once beloved shall not bend
the once beloved shall not cry
the once beloved shall not dance awry
and once beloved, always beloved

the once beloved shall be cold
the once beloved shall be told
the once beloved shall not fit the mold
the once beloved, always beloved

the once beloved shall always cherish
the once beloved shall be tall and winding
the once beloved shall have love undying
the once beloved, always beloved.

My one beloved, do not leave during the night
my only beloved, please do not smite
my well beloved, drenched in moonlight
my once beloved, always beloved.
