The Old Man's Daughter

Heard the old man's daughter
Screaming, touched once more.

I grabbed my courage and got my gun.
Walked out to the bare land.
Knocked down the door.

"You haven't met me, I am the only son".
Pulled the trigger and shot him dead.

Those weary eyes stared back at me.
Those last words ran through my head.
