"the Okie"

Was born and raised an Oklahoma kid. A tomboy at heart no matter where I lived. I fished all day to pass the time. Had a soda and a candy for just a dime. The grass was tall and roads paved with dirt. Our clothes consisted of jeans and a shirt. Church was every Sunday to our Lord we praised. An okie girl here born and raised. Teresa Skyles/Theoklapoet 06/08/09 This poem was wrote cause I was thinking of Oklahoma and me.
