THE ODD SOCK

Odd sock, missing suddenly
I needed to use it unexpectedly
Night was cold, I must feel warm
For, I worked all day in the farm

I searched for it from here to there
I searched for it from everywhere
The poor odd sock couldn't just be found
But this morning it's just around

How it surged my heartbeat
When my numbing feet needed the heat
But my odd sock was suddenly lost
It went missing like a ghost
