The Ocean Doesn'T Need Your Tears

The ocean doesn't need your tears

You're brokenhearted
It's been a long, hard road
These days you want to give it up
Hide from the dark and storms and fears

But I do hope you'll take comfort
Embrace the opportunity for a new start
Life is for the living, honey
And I wish you the brightest stars

So, please don't cry, sweetheart
The ocean doesn't need your tears
Let your heart fly, sweetheart
Once you let go of all your fears

Please don't cry, sweetheart
The ocean doesn't need your tears
You deserve love and happiness
Kindness and support and new years

Make a wish on those stars
Pursue your bravest dreams
Become the woman you choose to be
And know that you are a special queen

So, please don't cry, sweetheart
The ocean doesn't need your tears
Let your heart fly, sweetheart
Once you let go of all your fears

Please don't cry, sweetheart
The ocean doesn't need your tears
You deserve love and happiness
Kindness and support and new years

Please don't cry, sweetheart
The ocean wants you to celebrate
It's always there supporting you
Beyond your hope and faith
