Notes About The Poem

We all have a part to play if we expect to defeat the Coronavirus and get back to living a normal life.

The Nurses and the Doctors

The Nurses and the Doctors

The nurses and the doctors
Are the soldiers in this war
They are the country's heroes
We're the ones they're fighting for

They put their lives out on the line
Face the virus every day
To help those who contracted it
To hold death's knock at bay

We the people help them
By staying where we live
Their services aren't infinite
Only so much there to give

If you don't expose yourself
And keep yourself apart
You will not be the cure
But will be a decent start

Listen to the experts
They're on TV every day
Analyzing all the data
To make this virus go away

If we all become infected
By ignoring what is best
We are helping out the enemy
Putting soldiers to the test

Place yourself in quarantine
Protected from corona heat
A good offense is a defense
To bring this covid to defeat
