Notes About The Poem
Another Stairway poem, our kids today are brighter, smarter, more savvy, healthier, prettier, than any generation in the history of hamanity. Love them because we have made them and they will reward the world like none have ever done before.
The Now Generation
THE NOW GENERATION 2014
Not a thing going wrong
and it's coming on strong,
better times than we've seen now or then,
from the children who've grown
in a way never known
so much brighter than any have been.
They are rolling the drum
and they march to the strum
of their music we won't understand,
for our lack of forsight,
and too long in our night,
but their song has been carefully planned.
In a world of mistique
all the words they will speak
tell us go or get out of their way,
it's the wisdom they share
from a wish and a dare
to be one and to love. Ev'ry day.
