The Note

i sit here praying
for the shade
begging for the sun
to give way to rain
i want it dark
so i can waste away
cause i don't know how to fight

to this faint beat
a lonely sound
my tapping feet
I'd like to drown
don't grab my hand
as i go down
i swear i think it's right

it's what i want
but i want you to know
it's not your fault
that i have to go
i know I'm loved
and i know it's wrong
but I've just grown so tired

I've not lost faith
I've just found death
and I've found that life
is a waste of breath
know i loved you
until the end
i just can't make it another night
