The Night Is On

The day is gone,
The night is on.
Not a thing I can see,
But I can hear the inner me.
The room is dark,
But I can feel the spark.
The whole city is sleeping,
While I am preparing, for a new beginning.
The real me is standing at the door,
Waiting for my approval to come and conquer.
Waiting for the day to unfold,
For I can discover something untold.
All my gloom is gone,
But the night is still on.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
