The Night I Fell In Love

A bit of heaven fell into my arms one night,
I held it close and pressed it to my heart,
the pain of loneliness that lived there for a while
immediately got ready to depart.

There was thunder as our two hearts came together
and I'm sure our bodies started to glow.
I knew that I would never recover
but I wondered just how much it would show.

There were angels singing in the distance
in honour of this moment sublime,
and a voice said take care of our sister
then your love will last beyond time.

Seems a long time ago when this happened
but never the less it was true,
to prove it we're still very much in love
and we both say,I love only you.
