The Night

The sky is bright
And yet it's night
The stars, they whisper in soft moonlight
My favorite time
Purely sublime
Expansion trembles in a clever rhyme
Crisp cool air
Wind in my hair
Impossible not to sit and stare
Blanket of peace
Such a release
Breathless, I hope it to never cease
Dawn is now
Unfortunate how
Evening has ended and so takes it's bow
