The News

IT’S HARD TO LISTEN TO THE NEWS 
IT ALWAYS SOUNDS SO TRAGIC.
IT’S NO SURPRISE WHEN SOMEONE DIES
THE NEWS HAS LOST IT’S MAGIC.

DO WE REALY NEED TO HEAR EACH DAY 
THAT SOMEONE HAS DIED IN A FIRE?
ANOTHER CHILD HAS LOST ITS LIFE 
OR A POLITICIAN IS A LIAR.

THE NEWS COULD BE MORE PLEASING 
PUT A SMILE ON EVERY FACE 
DO WE NEED TO HEAR A MAN HAS DIED,
SIMPLY BECAUSE OF HIS RACE.

WHY DO WE NEED SUCH INPUT?
WHO MADE UP THE RULES? 
WAS NEWS THAT MAKES YOU CRINGE, OR CRY,
EVER TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS?

YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR FORMAT 
SO WHEN THE WORDS COME FROM YOUR MOUTH 
WE CAN MAKE THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE 
North East West and  South. 

   (which is an acronym for  N.E.W.S)
