The New Personality
Constantly the heart will ripen
as we focus on God's word.
Application brings to life and
fortifies the things we've heard.
Diligently we will listen
to the wise ones of the fold.
Confidently we will glisten
by applying what we're told.
Measurably we're maturing
as we grow from year to year.
Tribulations we're enduring,
conquering what causes fear.
True success amounts to struggle
as we're seeking to progress.
Qualities we try to juggle,
ever faithful nonetheless.
By improving spirituality,
we equip the new personality.
