THE NEED TO GET IT RIGHT

for everyday God wakes you up 
He's giving you another chance 
A new day, a new way
to change your circumstance 

for every morning you wake up
and see a new daylight 
its a new opportunity 
for you to get it right

stop moaning and groaning 
go fight the good fight 
the adversary is waiting in the wings 
in the darkness of night 

for every morning you wake up 
and see a new daylight 
it's a new opportunity 
for you to get it right 

read your Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth 
live by the covenant God promised 
since the day of your rebirth 
God is on your side
this battle is not just yours 
put on His full armor and wield 
the Spirit of the Sword 

as living by itself can be a major task
trust in God then do whatever He asks

God will outfit you with 
His righteousness and might 
and equip you 
with means to get it right 

for every morning you wake up
to see a new daylight 
it's a new opportunity 
for you to get it right 

don't veer from your destiny 
adhere to the path God did choose 
It might be a rougher road less travelled 
but what have you got to lose 

for every morning you wake up

God is on your side, 
this battle is not just your 
Put on His full armor and wield

remember God will protect you 
and keep you always in His sight 
be diligent in His mission for you
