The Nature of Things

The Nature of things

From inner core to outer sphere
From outer space a sight so mere
A phenomenon so impressive
Waters of oceans aggressive
Mountains and valleys so deep
Forests and jungles that creep
Microscopic invisible to the eye
Organisms mutate and multiply
Plenty life in the seas and rivers
Warm climates or some make you shiver
Air that billows and twists
Winds gather up clouds or move mist
Soil of the crust helps us grow
Trees drop more seeds to sow
Roots to anchor our souls
Mother Nature takes control
While humans and animals exist
The nature of things often missed
We strive to survive, stay alive
How can we help the earth thrive?

Beautiful, Laura! Full marks to you! My answer to "How can we help the earth thrive?" is very simple...let us not keep interfering with nature; let us allow nature to follow the creator's original plans. ~ Hope you are keeping well:) Warm regards...paul

Awww, thank you Paul, very kind of you! I love your response to my question, i agree, nurture all of our nature and not try to change or destroy it. Hoping to squeeze more time in to both read and write poetry. Life is so busy right now! Hope you are well and i'll drop by for a read of your latest and greatest very soon ;) warm regards, Laura.
