The Mysterious Key

mysterious key
discovered in the attic-
but it fits no locks

no physical locks
have embedded their mark- 
silver patina

on bedside table
it rests, inducing slumber-
unlocks subconscious

i walk through that door
apprehensive and trembling-
find my tomorrow
