The Moon and the Sun

A new dawn has break
The moon waits for the sunrise
before taking leave

Up above the sky
She beams, her face still glowing
after her vigil

Soon she will retire
when sun takes over her place
to give the world light

The moon and the sun
just like the night and the day
takes turn in cycle

As the earth moves on
in its rotation in life
orbiting in space

In measured distance
calculatedly running
in their own courses

How graceful they move
never in haste nor languid
always synchronized

Time keeps up with them
she moves in fluidity
as she marches on
