The Moon and Stars

I heard a voice in the wind - it whispered softly to me, words of wisdom quietly spoken, Only the moon and stars bore witness- for these were the words of hope, these were the words of liberation- listen with your heart- for you may hear them too. I walked quickly to my home- to my whitewashed house by the sea, the place of my solitude- where my mirror still hangs precariously on the wall, the moon and stars lit my way- though I knew it well- who would not worship the night skies help, And, there the fireplace awaited me.

Really nice Julie. This felt good to read this morning. This poem wandered softly through the night reaching its destination with a smile.
