The Mold Does Not Fit
I try to be what you want,
But it’s not right for me.
I need to be what I want to be.
I try not to show you disrespect.
I just can’t help that the mold does not fit.
I like what you disapprove.
It seems like no matter what I choose.
To you, it’s not right.
I want you to approve of what I choose.
I feel at sometimes it’s just no use.
I can’t be where you want me to be.
I can’t act the way you want me to act.
I can’t say what you want me to say.
I have to be free.
I have to be me, me, me,
From day to day.
Let’s just face the facts,
The mold that you made does not fit Nikki,
And that is that.
