The Missing

I sing a song of happiness
Look in the mirror and its me I miss
How long have I been missing
Has anybody looked or been listening

I stand in front of you now
Invisible, but seen somehow
Has my shadow given me away
Not in the dark, but the light of day

Can you smell me in the air
The soapy frangrance of my hair
Do you recall meeting me
I was drowning in the sea

You stood and stared
At my face so scared
And watched as I went under
Am I still down here, do you wonder?
