The Mirror

Have looked into this mirror
All I see is the horror
The terror to come.
That will happen to some.

I have seen my soul
My own as a whole
This is not me...
I must be dreaming.

Heavy Panting...
This is not me
CRASH!!!

From this beast of terror
I could not save them
A coward I am
A defeated warrior
Like a lost lamb
My flaws I condemn

This is not me
In this mirror...This strange mirror
This is not me
I must correct this error...This strange error.

My flaws in fragments
In the mirror's pieces scattered
I must gather again these elements
Each unaltered

For another mirror
For the revelation of a real me
A warrior and their savior.
A real me...
