The Mind Raper

He spoke so softly on that day The day the darkness came my way Caressed me with words right from the grave The grave he dug to initially enslave. He danced in the rain of childhood pain Then spun a web of utter shame. The race was on, the prize, all lies Unknowingly, I was mesmerized. Who could have thought these things were true Falling in love with someone I never knew Pure fiction plays on summer nights Even fights were woven just so right. Sucking the sanity through each new breath Leaving me lifeless with nothing left Feeding on fears and pounding on sorrow Whispering words of no more tomorrows. A Mirror of madness Master of deception Distorted my once clear perception. A fallen solider drenched in blood Blood from someone who could never love Blood from someone who could never love!
