The Mile
You've heard the phrase to walk a mile
In someone else's shoes
So why not give it a try
What have you got to lose
Maybe become an addict
We say that's its a choice
Or are they satans captives
Who need to hear God's Voice
What if you were homeless
No place to call your own
Would you understand the pain
That comes from being alone
What if you had no money
To even buy your food
If you see your kids go hungry
Would it change your attitude
And what if you were Jesus
Who walked to Calvary
Could you have walked that final mile
That set the whole world free
