The Midnight Call
Through the darkened hallway screeched
A violent midnight call
Lost and rambling evermore
Not ready for the fall
Passion mingled with despair
I yell and plead for peace
End my madness with a blow
My racing mind will cease
Was it not a day ago
We spoke of future plans?
Tear the clock down from the wall
And rip apart its hands
Hang the phone up violently
No heed for damaged parts
Now how to love again when
In death you stole my heart!
