The Meteor Shower

The changes started, With meteors falling from the sky, I stared at the raining lights, Feeling small, Feeling connected to everything. As I feel my soul move within me Expanding like the universe above I forget past sins and burdens, because At this moment, I could walk on water, Catch the meteors in jars like lightening bugs on a summer night. I feel the future rushing toward me, I close my eyes and smile, Taking a step forward, And so it begins.
