The Messenger

What a grand inspiration of life. What a glory of internal light. Nothing can measure the once hidden treasure, That at first remained out of sight. From humble beginnings it's true, But the rumble grew louder in time. After every detail the truth would prevail, And inspire His desire to climb. On top of the mountain He stood, Born under a bright evening star. With lessons complete a mission replete, To guide all from near and afar. As the masses listened in awe, A voice from the crowd would ask; "What gives you the power at this dark hour, For this monumental task?" With a solemn stance and a smile, He spoke words for all to hear. "It's sheltered within and will truly begin, When you release your doubt and fear." That message is still true today, Though long ago it was told. With generosity and no animosity, All our futures will shine like gold.
