The Mess In My Mind

And just like that
The sadness was less
Taking my medicine
Cleaned up much of my mess

The mess in my mind
And the mess in my soul
The mess of my life
That the sadness had stole

I tried many different pills
To finally feel
But to the pills I am grateful
Now the sadness can't steal

Steal from my time
And steal from my brain
I will take those pills forever
To not lose myself again

Ah, but the pills could drive you nuts! Did you take one this morning? Are you sure? Should you take another one just to be sure? What happens if you take too many? Are the side-effects destroying your health, movement, thoughts, etc.? Is the illusion of being free worth the trial? Nothing like fresh, clean air! Aloha! Rico
