One day by the ocean,
Under the stars,
She will pick up
A handful of sand;
And,
She will know
That each grain of sand,
Each drop of water,
Each star in the sky,
Or leaf from a tree,
Each drop of her blood
Every molecule of air
That she breathes
Is a gift from her Father
Saying thank you,
For being my daughter.
