The Memory Lane

She wears a wing with the golden light, All she wanted in her life, was to shine bright. Just like the pure shower of rain that drizzles from the sky, She was an angel that flies high. In the world of imagination, where there are no set of limitations, She jumped above all the barriers with all her expectations. She had silver hair a heart of gold, The smile on her face would never grow old. But then, she stood far away from me like a setting sun, And I could see the time in the sand glass run. No matter how hard I tried to hold it, catch it, lock it But somewhere I knew, I could not stop it. Everytime I go down your memory lane, I miss your touch, I fell empty and all I feel is the infinite pain.

A poem of sorrow and woe, wonderfully expressed.
