The Measure of Beauty

How do measure someone's beauty? Is it the thickness of their hips? The smooth lined makeup on their face? Or is the mystery of whats Underneath all that Makes you want to breathe? The air in their space You turn to the tv Beautiful slender figures Parade around the screen Then a big brotha or sista walks by So now you choose the option To appreciate it or be mean And that person tries to hide the pain That feeling of inadequency Makes want to eat away your the shame Ursula Tillery
