The Master Artist
The Master Artist never sleeps
He daily a full schedule keeps.
Each day and night His works are new
and they are perfect through and through.
Each day’s sunrise a painting new
created just for me and you,
the canvas of the sky remains,
yet each one titillates our brains.
The sun and sky, they are the same,
yet no two sunsets are the same,
the variations of the hues,
produces such amazing views.
Stars peeking through the pitch-black skies
look so impressive to our eyes.
The moon with her reflected light
is such a wonder to our sight.
And birds as they soar through the air,
so effortless and without care
against the backdrop of blue skies
look so picturesque to our eyes.
From trees that cover mountain peaks
to plants that line the banks of creeks,
the Artist’s use of shades of green
create views that are so serene.
The flowers with their varied hues,
of red, purple, pink, white and blue
contrasted with the shades of green
produces sundry stunning scenes.
Birds of various sizes and plumes
akin to the flowers that bloom,
when added to the natural scene
teach lessons we should pause and glean.
The streams, lakes, rivers and the seas
on earth’s landscape, water the trees,
and what tranquil moods they evoke,
when we love and live without life’s yokes.
The animals in sea and on land,
whether alone or in a band,
all in their own peculiar way
the Master’s virtues do portray.
The Master artist patiently waits
to imbue you with His own traits
so, you with all His natural works
can reveal His traits that in you lurks.
