The Mask of Ambition

Seeking to heighten Your small frame, On tiptoe, yet you Already mock your aim. For cheating's fleeting gains Shall swiftly fade, And leave you poorer Than when you first did trade. It's not the feathers That give birds their flight, But wings of strength, That lift them to the light. Hard work and patience, These are virtues true, That shall reward you, With a success anew.
