The Many Things

A future without boundaries
A future without assurance
A future without obscurities
A future without reliance

The many things told to believe
The many things told to remain hidden
The many things told to achieve
The many things told to question

Place in a world advancing
How are parents ever right?
Beings in a world made remaining
Was I not taught to hide?

I ought to be alright until I don’t believe
This make-believe world everyone lives
The many needs upon average to perceive
Is everyone else always a judgement to achieve?

I rather a future without
Rather a me then to follow
The stupid rules men create to doubt
Rather I be poor and shallow
