The Man We Once Knew
I watched you suffer and wondered why,
How could anyone do this to you and why?
I know you tried your best to find the answer and ventured
Down every avenue,
Yet you still were clueless in a Feld of clues.
Each clue leading to another place,
Yet it only led to a faded Memory and another empty space.
What happened to the man I knew so long ago?
What caused you to become someone I don’t even know?
At times I wondered how you still remembered me,
But then I think maybe you don't it's just my hoping it
Would be.
I wish the answer to all your memories and questions comes back to you
And you'll once again be the man we all once knew
