The Man and the Rose

There was a man who walked by a tree one day with no care at all. Without realizing, he stepped on a rose that wastanding straight and tall.

The rose next to it jumped up from the ground and said, "hey, don't step on us." The man turned his head, laughed as he said, "Pretty rose don't make a fuss."

The rose got mad, ran up to the man, and put his thorn into his shin. The rose folded his leaves and said, "Don't come back again."

The man yelled, "Outch, why did you hurt me...why did you hurt me so?" The rose said, "We don't like being crushed by people, now get out o here...just go."

The man ran off. He had no choice but go on his way. The rose went back to the tree and enjoyed the rest of his day.
