The Man From Snowy River From the Aussie cowboy past When men were men, and gals were scarce But friendships made to last Arrive when he was called for Give the best of help he would Often giving far more Than any other drifter could He had this reputation Change difficult to ease Welcome at the station He would blow in with the breeze Sit around the fire and yarn About excitement in the past If it rains go in the barn His story list is vast When he died he was Jack Riley 1914 was the year None more respected highly Celebrate him with a beer

No worries about the teeth, Warren, I'm just glad to see your happy smile. I'm glad you got the last verse included. It makes the poem even better. Loved it! =)
