The Mall

This mall is quite gigantic, Filled with every type of store. It even boasts a Ferris wheel, Which families adore. The food court, rife with choices, Is right near the carousel, Both attracting all the parents, Beneficial clientele. There’s a gym and, yes, a dentist! Climbing platforms for the kids, So it isn’t universal That all malls are on the skids. We just went to pass some hours On a Sunday afternoon Which the weather (cold and windy!) Made seem very opportune.

Malls can be great places. I have not visited the ones around my city for so long!! Nor had my kids young with me . It's been many years!! I really enjoyed this. I do kind of miss those days! (they even had the mall walkers!!)

Stopping and shopping and lot's of family fun. No matter how enjoyable, you're always glad you're done. The kid's are down and fast asleep from from exhausted energy. When asked if they could go again, you just say, well , we'll see. :)

Always a pleasure to read your poems, Ilene. In Malta we do not have malls similar to yours, though we have something on a smaller scale. I am sure they serve you well fora lovely Sunday afternoon out. ~ Regards // paul

My mom and many others walk in the malls daily...they even open early to accommodate them.

We don't have any 'malls' on our little Island - I do go to shopping centers when we go away but I do find them somewhat overwhelming - a great way to pass a few hours though!:-) hugs Jan xx
