The Magical Teaspoon
The magical teaspoon
Shiny like sun in the afternoon
Dull like the dreaded vaccine
Yet a powerful little machine
The liquid loves to swirl on her stage
The silent waves sit on her miniscule page
It's a joy to be small because she runs at her own pace
Low expectations yet she's never late
To give the medicine to the sickly child
To stir the sugar in the tea in such a style
To measure in her scale, sometimes piled
She does it all from fork to knife in urgency's tide
