The Mad Hatter Ball

The Mad Hatter Ball

ll take the leftovers put it all on my plate
We would not want to waste
This very important date
Yes, half bitten and fragmented taste
We would not want to waste
A half and not a whole
I know the time is late
Slightly torn no matter
We would not want to waste
A minute of this time in space
Half the glass
No splatter
We would not want to waste
Words spoken now in haste
The gathering took place
We would not want to waste
