The Lovers' Whirlwind
I'm caught up in another whirlwind.
It blows me to you without a doubt,
tossed here, tossed there, tossed about.
Love and lust are both a knife,
cutting up
bits and pieces of my life.
What part of my heart will you possess?
The part that can only say,
"Yes"?
Without this dream of you out there
my heart would
surely, scarcely bare.
So, take me away
with all the rest
who can never be the best.
We tumble and toss about within
the lovers' crazy, hazy whirlwind.
