The Lover With Crooked Wings

THE LOVER WITH CROOKED WINGS

                                                           Shadowy
                                                            Vows--
                                                            Mendacious
                                                            Words

                                                           Crooked wings
                                                            Affect a bird.

This is quite clever, and I'll end up saying this a million times, but I'll chance the monotony: I adore poetic brevity. Truly talented poets can say so very much in so few words; you managed this well. And I LOVE that you used the word "mendacious"; excellent choice of words :)

My father told me, oh so long ago, once said to use your time and words (spoken and written) like you are spending money...that thought has bumped around in my head my entire life...I believe it to be wise advice...(and I like the word mendacious, too!!)
