The Love That Was
The heartbreak you speak of doesn’t end
The places we were....so this message I send.
The trails we ran on, the views we saw.
The memories fresh, and still so raw.
The songs I hear,
To us were so dear.
Slow dance we did,
As well as the jig.
You must understand that I sometimes still weep,
For the love that we had, that still is so deep.
So move on if you must, but remember this,
That old photo of us, I will always kiss......
