The Love of My Son
It's my promise that I'll never take back
I'll love you forever and always
To the moon and back
My heart beats for you only
You will never understand the love I have for you fully
You came from an unwanted tragedy
Yes I admit I was scared
Until I came to grip with my reality
Keeping you was my best decision
You are my family
I don't have it altogether most of the time
You don't seem to mind
You have shown me the joy of life
Why love is patient and love is kind
My dear son you are a gift sent from God
My light in the dark
My days spent at the park
Watching you play, explore, learn, and grow
Oh how the Lord only knows
As I raise you, you better me
There is no better place I rather be
Then by your side
Though the good and the bad
I will always try my best on both sides as I raise you as both your mom and dad
I'll always be there for you no matter what challenges we will face
Your apart of me and I'm apart of you
That will never change
As we grow together our bond will only get stronger
My love for you son, will never fade
