The Love I Feel
I've looked at life and I've tried to see...
Those little things that are important to me.
The words, " I love you," from a faithful spouse...
And those special feelings I get when I enter my house.
The telephone call from and old and dear friend...
And standing in my yard listening to the wind.
Setting in church and feeling the love of God...
Or sitting by the fireplace and starting to nod.
At times it's good to look at life and see...
All those things that are important to me.
A gentle breeze that ruffles my hair...
And at the time of need having someone there.
Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners are special times too...
But the most important thing is the love I feel between
me and you.
